Engine 4 is a 2001 American La France serving as our primary attack engine. With a 1500 GPM pump. 1000 gallon water tank, a 30 gallon foam tank, and carries 1200 feet of 5 inch LDH along with several 1.75-inch and 2-inch pre-connected attack lines. Engine 4 also carries an assortment of light rescue tools along with a Hurst hydraulic tool. It is powered by a 500-hp Detroit diesel with an Allison automatic transmission. This truck was purchased from Winfield Fire Protection District in Winfield IL.
